Fantastic … The best little adventure around York!! We went as a family of 3 (2 adults and a nearly 5 year old) and we were worried our little girl would be a bit young …. We had absolutely nothing to worry about … She loved it, as did we! It is comical, interactive, engaging, fun & very entertaining. It was worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour of York. Would also recommend going for the wand option or buying the wand on the day, definitely adds to the tour experience. Thanks guy, we’ll be booking again!
We went on the Wizard Walk of York today and had a fantastic time. The Wizard was absolutely brilliant — full of humour, quick wit, and clever tricks that kept both the children and adults thoroughly entertained. The tour led us through the magical streets of beautiful York, bringing the city to life in a really fun and engaging way. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different to do while exploring York.
I thought this was excellent for adults and children. My kids are 10 and 6 and wouldn’t normally enjoy a 75 minute walk, however the Wizard made it thoroughly entertaining. Laugh out loud funny for all and the best thing we did in York. Highly recommend.
We went on the Wizard Walk of York on Saturday 17th January at 130pm. Phoenix, the Wizard (not the magical creature) greeted us at our meeting point and immediately whisked us into our adventure. The route took us to several places in York we had never seen before and the pace was just right. It was accessible with a buggy (well as much as cobbled streets with small wheels can be!) and it lasted around 90 minutes - but it didn’t feel like it at all. The time passed so quickly because it was so much fun! The magic was brilliant, the jokes and puns had children and big children laughing aloud and there were some quirky tidbits about York’s history mixed in for good measure. We would recommend this tour to anyone! Child review: The wizard was super funny and the magic tricks were really great!My little sister was meant to go to sleep in the buggy and she was really sleepy but she enjoyed it so much she didn’t have her nap!! Honestly I really loved it. My favourite part was the magic tricks. I enjoyed incredibly funny jokes. Yeah do you know? It was really fun walking round and it was super funny like when he did things accidentally! Thank you!
This was great fun! Lots of silly jokes and stories, which had us all laughing. My six year old was very taken with our wizard! Highly recommended as a fun way to potter around York’s hidden alleyways.
