York's Chocolate Story

It was really good! I now know things that before I didn't! Staff is great, and when they are doing you the tour, they give you different chocolates for you to try them! In my case, because I am intolerant to dairy free products and lactosa, they gave me special chocolate for me to try, and whenever I too a chocolate, they would tell me the ingredientes of tose and If I cold eat thsm or not! It was great, and If you are visiting York like me, make a little stop there!!! 😄

Highly recommend and worth the entry fee. Very informative and interesting tour our guide Josh was engaging and knowledgeable. The exhibits are a mix of fun and Information and very interactive. With lots free sample. We added the truffle making and lolly workshop which was good fun too. I'll add we are 2 fully grown adults and still enjoyed it, so not just for kids.

A lot of fun and very interesting! We were a small group, so it was really intimate, and got to learn a lot about the history of chocolate production in York and how it's developed over time! I'd also signed up for truffle making, which was a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend! Plus, there was plenty in the shop to browse and buy!

The tour was amazing. Very entertaining and Gina had a very nice sense of humour and super nice. Our boys who are 8 and 5 years old did not get bored at all. Its perfect for young ones. And the amount of chocolate you get offered to taste is on another level 😄

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide Rachel H, told us of the history of chocolate at a nice leisurely pace. Sampling chocolate along the way and the added bonus of truffles at the end made this a great experience. We would highly recommend this tour if you are in York and love chocolate.
