Robin’s View
I have a confession to make. I’ve been unfaithful. I didn’t stay in Yorkshire for my latest holiday. I went to Bruges. And Amsterdam. And Mainz, Heidelberg and the Black Forest in Germany, Luzern in Switzerland, and finally Paris. It was one of those ‘if it’s Tuesday it must be Belgium’ escorted coach tours, and it packed an awful lot into eight days. I now know, at least in theory, how to polish a diamond, carve a clog, make cheese and assemble a cuckoo clock. It was great in its way, but you know what? It wasn’t Yorkshire.
