|Tenpin Dewsbury is launching an exciting new community support scheme, inviting local residents to nominate their favourite community groups, charities, or initiatives for a chance to win a £1,000 donation. This initiative aims to celebrate and support the organisations and volunteers that are making a real difference in Dewsbury and its surrounding areas.
Calling for Nominations
From grassroots sports clubs to youth groups and charitable projects, Tenpin Dewsbury wants to hear about the local causes that matter most to the community. The nomination process is now open and will remain so until Thursday, 30th July 2026. Residents are encouraged to fill out an online entry form to submit their nominations.
How It Works
After the nomination period closes, the three organisations that receive the highest number of nominations will move on to a public voting stage. This voting will take place at Tenpin Dewsbury, where visitors can cast their votes for the cause they believe deserves the funding. Voting will be held from Monday, 3rd August to Friday, 11th September 2026, giving everyone plenty of time to participate.

A New Home for Fun
Tenpin Dewsbury officially opened its doors to the public on Friday, 7th February 2025. Located at Unit 2, Dewsbury Retail Park, Railway Street, the entertainment complex has transformed the space that once housed the Mecca Bingo hall. It features 24 bowling lanes, a 4D laser tag arena, escape rooms, private karaoke rooms, pool tables, a cocktail bar, and a wide selection of arcade games, all complemented by TNT and Sky Sports.
