|As the summer holidays approach, families in Yorkshire are in for a treat at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds. The outlet is set to kick off a FREE Sandcastle Competition on Monday, 20th July, giving children a chance to showcase their creativity and win from a treasure trove of over 90 prizes. This exciting event marks the return of the popular summer beach at the outlet, which will be open from 20th July until 30th August.
Sandcastle Competition Details
The Sandcastle Competition will be divided into two sessions occurring at 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm on the day of the event. Children aged 16 years and under are invited to participate, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. It's important to note that participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is recommended.
Every child who takes part will receive a participation medal and, depending on availability, a prize donated by local retailers. Special prizes will be awarded in three categories:

Most Creative Design
Judges' Favourite
Winners can look forward to exciting headline prizes, such as VTech Kidizoom watches and Paddington Football Playsets, alongside additional goodies like backpacks, craft kits, and vouchers from popular brands including Luke 1977 and The Works.
A Day Full of Fun
Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Leeds, formerly known as Junction 32, is not just about sandcastles. The venue offers more than 85 outlet stores, where families can enjoy discounts of up to 70% off. There are also plenty of cafés and restaurants, making it the perfect spot for a family day out during the summer.
In addition to the sandcastle competition, the outlet will partner with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance throughout the summer holidays to provide various family-friendly activities. This partnership will not only entertain families but also help raise essential funds for the charity.
Activities and Attractions
Visitors can take part in a Heli Hunt trail for just £1. This interactive activity allows families to follow clues around the outlet, with a chance to win a £100 voucher. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance will also host a range of activities, including mascot appearances, a colouring station, and bucket collections to support their cause. There will be interactive displays featuring a wooden helicopter and themed photo opportunities, ensuring a memorable day for all.
