Grand Opening Event

The grand opening event was a night to remember, attended by over 120 guests from the local community, including businesses, influencers, and media representatives. The celebration kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by former Leeds professional footballer Andy Couzens. Guests were entertained by the Volcano Falls' Dino Rangers and even had the chance to meet a life-size walking dinosaur, creating memorable photo opportunities throughout the evening.

Chris Black, Chairman of Sound Leisure and Non-Executive Director of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venue:

Part of the evening's festivities included a generous donation of £2,000 to the charity Rays of Sunshine, which helps grant wishes for children with serious illnesses. Some families who have previously had their wishes granted were special guests at the event, including Ella Hargreaves, Ruby Joseph, Isaac O'Kane, and Eliza Davies. This commitment to charity has been a long-standing tradition for Volcano Falls, and it adds a heart-warming touch to their opening.
