Owned and run by 3 generations of the Newton family since 1946, its close proximity to the North Yorkshire Moors and Captain Cook Country make Saxonville the ideal base for exploring the area on foot, by cycle or car.
Well situated on Whitby’s West Cliff, the comfort and hospitality of the Saxonville Hotel can be found just a few minutes stroll from the narrow streets and winding alleyways of this delightful, historic town.
Guests return to our attractive Fairfield Restaurant for delicious cuisine prepared daily. Enjoy traditional English fare from either our table d’hote or extensive a la carte menu, accompanied by a selection of mouth-watering desserts.
Guests are assured of a warm, friendly welcome and a high standard of personal service. The spacious Reception, with fresh flowers and splendid Grandfather clock, creates a convivial atmosphere which remains with you throughout your stay.
