Had my necklace redesigned for a special memento to be added. Ready in 3 days and the price was spot on. A perfect job, done with quality items that will last plenty of years. Staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Plenty of knowledge and good advice. Can honestly say, I wasn't sure if my request was possible. Having taken their advice, my item was done better than I thought it could be. Plenty of excellent quality items for sale to, at competitive prices. Highly recommend these people and this marvelous jewellery shop.

Fantastic service at Brown's from Kath & the gentleman upstairs that cleans & repairs jewellery & re-sizes rings. I took a silver cross & chain in for cleaning & I was amazed at the result. It looked like brand new when I collected it. Thank you for all you help.

Please avoid buying your jewellery from here, the quality of the rings are questionable. My fiancée bought me a beautiful diamond ring which, in less than two years, has lost the large diamond in the middle and a smaller diamond around the band. The experience in which I’d realised the diamond had fallen out was awful: alongside a ring with a gaping hole in it, there were lots of tears, a feeling of guilt and a sickening feeling that my partner had spent thousands on a diamond which had now gone. By sheer luck I found it, and we had to take it back in and had the joy of paying to get it fixed. When we were there, we were told it was a common problem with the ring I had. It would have been nice if my partner had been warned about this before buying a ring so expensive. No one wants to spend this kind of money and form a sentimental attachment to a ring which so easily loses the diamond. Apparently this is just “general wear and tear”, but given the money that was spent I expect it to be of better craftsmanship. I don’t have a laborious day job and I’m generally careful with my rings, now I’m scared to wear it. I’m just waiting for that horrible moment where I realise the diamond has fallen out again. And maybe I won’t be so lucky enough to find it next time. It’s really upsetting because this is a ring that’s meant to be with me for life, but at this rate there will be nothing left of it in a couple of years. If you’re buying a ring which will mean something to you or a significant other, please go elsewhere. It’s not worth the heartache.

Fantastic shop. Got a pre owned diamond ring at a great price. The shop is a safe, welcoming environment and I Will definitely be back.
