B&M Store

I feel the need to write a review following an incident yesterday in store. I visit this store regularly and the staff are always helpful and have to deal with some extremely difficult customers which is upsetting to see. Whilst waiting to be served yesterday there were some ladies paying for their shopping and diced they'd pay for some of their shopping separately. They walked away without paying for the extra bits and the cashier shouted as they headed for the door if they were still wanting the items. When they came back in to pay the young girl with the group started shouting at the cashier and was extremely rude and patronising. I just wanted to thank the staff for always working hard and working through extremely difficult circumstances as some people have no manners. Keep up the good work!

I bought two packets of the same skinny whip bars 2 days ago and just went to try them for the first time. Upon opening the packet I saw that one of the packets had a best before for this month. So I checked the other pack and that one was June 2026. I tried one of the bars that had this months date on and it was very dry.

I find this b&m better than a few others I happen to go. Today a young lad among the staff went out of his way to find the inflatable ball pit for us. Very very kind and eager to help. The lady at the till was very kind too! It takes a lot to smile and be polite at the end of a long working day especially in retail! Bless you guys!! May you go places!!

This has to be the worst B&M store in the entire chain. Went to buy a few Easter eggs & the ones which were left were all smashed in & left on the shelves. The small cages with impulse items in all had wrong signs on. Some of the items I needed to buy didn't have the correct labels on the shelf edge so I had to use the scanner on the app which didn't even have the item listed! Finally the checkouts are a joke, they make you all wait in one massive queue, rather than individual queues for each checkout? This causes loads of problems! No one knows what's going on, everyone's shouting at each other for pushing in because no one understands what's going on. The staff here are useless, don't bother asking them anything, they're out of their depth with the concept of filling shelves & taking cash. As the old saying goes, pay peanuts.... 🥜

This is the best B&M store anywhere in Leeds. Staff are very friendly, unlike some of their other stores around Leeds, and the girls on the checkouts are always happy to serve with a smile. Particular thanks to Julie, who always goes the extra mile to make sure it's a happy experience. Thank you, and we'll done👍
