Sainsbury's Local

As I mentioned in my earlier review of the Broadway, I’ve been away from Bradford for nearly two years now. Sadly the same disappointment applies to this Sainsburys as well. I used to come in regularly and it was such a pleasant place to visit. You could hear laughter from the staff, see them chatting, and they genuinely seemed happy to be there and to help customers. I always smiled to myself watching the main manager and the young asian manager with the face mask bickering and flirting sometimes at the same time lol. This always brought a bit of life and warmth to the place because who doesn’t love a bit of young love. It felt human, friendly, and welcoming with a some personality. I popped in today and was honestly taken aback. The atmosphere is completely different. Everyone looked miserable as if they were just going through the motions. When I asked a couple of staff members for help I was made to feel like I was a nuisance rather than a valued customer. As for the situation at the tills well that’s a whole other story. It’s such a shame to see how far it’s fallen in such a short space of time. The store I remembered is clearly no longer there.

Fantastic Service from Taha! I went in yesterday and was served by Taha on the till. He was really friendly, efficient, and made the whole checkout process easy. He packed everything carefully and even helped answer a few questions I had. It’s always great to be served by someone who clearly cares about good customer service. Thanks again, Taha

The lady on the till very rude. No sense how to behave with customer.when I am over there She was looked in the phone talking with another staff.

I love Sainsbury’s but this is far to busy for my liking .. However it is a Sainsbury local. Staff are polite and friendly, shops very busy obviously because of the location. There’s a cash machine outside also 👍😃 Security guard not very friendly, maybe he was having a bad day…….. Oh my goodness what a difference 24 hours can make !! when in this evening. The store was dirty. There were boxes in the isles on the floor ( I counted 6) when I approach the member of staff who has to use crutches he didn’t even acknowledge me, as I politely told him that they would trip someone up … he spent most of his time chatting on his head set to the other staff member in the aisle behind. Nobody was available at the till when we went to the self-service we needed help we shouted the shopkeeper twice but he didn’t hear Obviously still nattering on his head set ….. So we went to another self-serve till… Not impressed with the state of the store I thought Sainsbury’s would have had higher standards than this … I have used Sainsbury’s stores all over the country and out of all my experiences I would say this is the worst one I have visited 😡 😡 The security guard wasn’t welcoming either, I thought security guards were there to make us feel comfortable in a store ? If I had a problem, I don’t think I would’ve approached him or any members of the Sainsbury’s team 😡
