Lots of parking across the road if the car park in the front is full. Lovely welcome and very polite helpful staff. The hotel was clean everywhere, our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The decor is a little dated. Our only qualm is there were no bedside lights, just bright ones above up in the ceiling. Breakfast was amazing! Lots to choose from and staff were very attentive. We will be back!
Just back from a 2 night stay, hotel is clean and in an ideal location, secure parking across the road. The staff were all brilliant one stand out was Jodie who looked after us in the bar, very helpful and attentive and great advice on food choice which was absolutely amazing, credit to the chef. We had beer battered black pudding with poached egg for starter then steak for my partner and beef brisket for me, everything was perfect. Breakfast was also great with a good choice and all meals came out piping hot. Definitely will use again.
The Guide Post has significantly improved since the last time I reviewed it. All the staff I've encountered have been lovely and very helpful. The food is very good indeed, good quality ingredients and well cooked. I ate here last night intending to go elsewhere for my next two nights but I've changed my mind. Dinner last night was fabulous, as was breakfast this morning. I'm eating in the hotel for the duration of my stay. Highly recommended.
Good hotel not far from Low Moor train station. Staff are absolutely lovely and I really enjoyed my meal in the restaurant - chicken burger and chips were fresh and delicious. Rooms are standard best western style rooms. Tea / coffee provided and basic soap / shower gel / shampoo. Bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner but apart from that no issues.
Lynsey and her staff are absolutely lovely. They were very accommodating and helpful. We literally had 3 weeks to plan the event a bridal shower and they managed to pull off a spectacular evening in short notice. The food was an Indian 3 course meal and the drinks we added, but overall a very good package and the event was such fun! We had a blast.
