Best Western Forest and Vale Hotel

Had a great overnight stay. The hotel is very easy to spot from the road - could just do with a signpost pointing to their carpark. If you do happen to miss the hotel, and carry on past it you conveniently find a rather good Lidl! True story! Really lovely & helpful staff. Very comfortable bed & had a really good sleep. I didn't have an evening meal or breakfast, so I can't comment on the food, but it looked like there was plenty of choice. I would definitely stay there again when I return to the Ryedale area.

Staff amazing, not very often you can say the whole team are friendly and welcoming, from check in, showing you to your room, waiters/esses, bar staff and cleaners-well done team x Room lovely, food fantastic both breakfast and evening meal we rebooked at check out and hopefully can squeeze a trip in in between. Walking distance to the centre and a good base to other North/East Coast atractions-definitely reccomend

We were non residents but if you book in advance they have no problem getting a reservation for you. The building inside is lovely and every member of staff we met was very friendly. The food was delicious, quite good size portions but not too much you couldn't finish, even managed to squeeze in a dessert! Drinks were good value too as we were expecting them to be higher due to being hotel chain. Would definitely return to eat here again if we were visiting the area.

Wonderful best Western! I was struggling to find a place. The lady at the front desk was very sweet. Also got upgraded to a suite with an amazing garden view. Breakfast was delicious.

I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay in Pickering. All staff were friendly and helpful. The Room were clean and comfortable. They had a good choice of food for breakfast and on an evening. We would certainly stay here again
