The Range, Skipton

This is our own experience with this store, and we know everyone’s experience can be different — but we always like to share feedback based on the service we’ve received. We really enjoy shopping at The Range in Skipton. It’s a good-sized store with both an upstairs and downstairs area, and it always feels well stocked and easy to browse. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, which makes the whole shopping trip that bit nicer. They carry a huge variety of products — everything from home decor and DIY essentials to seasonal items. During Halloween and Christmas, it’s especially great for picking up all your household decorations and festive bits. The DIY section is really good too, with plenty of choice and some brilliant wallpaper designs that stand out compared to other stores. It’s a fantastic place to visit whether you’re after everyday home items or something a bit more seasonal. . I hope this honest review helps others make an informed decision.

I called into the Skipton store yesterday to have a look at the new stock. I picked up some items marked on the shelf as being reduced. However when I got to the check out not only did I have to wait 5 minutes for the sales person to have a conversation at the till. As she put my sale items through and I asked her to check the price she informed me that if the item itself didn't have a reduced sticker on it then they had to charge the full amount despite the label on the shelf saying reduced. I politely asked what the point in putting it on the shelf was if they wouldn't sell it for that price she informed me that head office have told them they can't sell it unless the item says reduced. So make sure you get a receipt and check it before you leave the store.

Lots of parking around the store. Store stocks a wide range of goods from crafting, gardening and DIY to name a few. Staff seemed helpful.

Lots of stock. Some lovely things and reasonably priced. Quite cluttered though with things left in aisles. Be careful when navigating your way around.

The Range has an excellent selection of christmas decor, which I just can't seem to resist. Purchased a few crafty bits too
