It’s is in a great location and the place itself could be brilliant, but the way it’s managed is just disappointing. Every time we come it’s the same story. Even though the place is completely empty with no locals, no kids anymore because everything is charged for. We booked a football pitch and the guy turned up with a watch in his hand, telling us to stop exactly on the minute. I get it, time’s up, but when no one’s waiting and we even started late, giving 5–10 minutes wouldn’t hurt. Last time we booked a later slot, arrived 20 minutes early and they still made us wait until the exact minute to open the pitch. It’s ridiculous, especially considering this is funded by our taxes and we still have to pay extra on top of that, only to be watched with a stopwatch. Even going to the toilet during a game gets you dirty looks. No wonder the place is empty now compared to a few years ago, when local kids used to come after school.

A great place for families. We have hosted a few event here to raise funds for charity. There is plenty of parking. Defined outdoor spaces e.g. excersie equipment, basket ball court, football pitch. Inside there are 2 floors. Ground floor has a huge sports hall, a bowling alley, snooker table and a nice cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks. The venue is fully accessible with a lift. The venue can be hired. A good place for children to run off excess energy.

The Hut is an incredible place. We discovered it a couple of months back when my daughter got invited to a roller skate party. It was so much fun and even though my 2 girls struggled at first (5 and 6years old) they grew to love it, hence us now being regular "Friday nighters". In a matter of weeks their confidence and ability dramatically improved. Neil is constantly watching to check on the safety of everyone and plays fab music, whilst managing to guide and give advice along the way. The team are so friendly and welcoming, it's a real little hidden gem of a place. Huge thankyou for introducicing us to such a brilliant (and cheap) hobby which keeps the girls fit and focused **edit. Yet another fantastic skate session. We visited both friday and Saturday. The new lasers and blow up halloween kit just added that little extra... big up Neil. We think you're fab

It’s great place for children. Just one thing I would advice is to bring your own change with you. Drinks machines and vending machines cash only, and When asked a member of staff if they had a card machine he said he is not sure.
