Pubs fine. My review is on the DJ Ray who does the pub quiz on a thursday night. The music is too loud in-between questions so you can't talk to your team mates and have to shout (which he doesn't like). He also has a God complex and is very snappy.
Was rather offended why my son who has down syndrome politely waited at the bar. I got served before him even though he was first. I then was told that even though he was first he had to wait until the regulars get served first. When I said that’s not right it should be first come first served I was told it doesn’t work like that as the regulars go in every day. I’ve never heard this before
Absolutely disgusting place. Filthy upholstery. The carpets if that what you call them are covered in years of booze. Black . Black black.the toilets stink covered in mold. Who ever owns or runs this pig sty.shouldnt be let loose in a public service establishment. You should be embarrassed in allllll corners of hygiene 🤢
New land lord and lady. Lovely, kind we'll mannered and polite. Good selection of music on the jukebox and a fair price for a pint and pool table. Thumbs up 👍🏻
Went in Saturday night, the Lady who is due to take over in a couple of weeks totally ignored me not once but 3 times. She was more interested in talking to staff whose night off it was and had gone in for a drink or putting her phone on charge rather than serve people who were stood waiting.
