We visited the night of the Castleford Rugby match and Leona was rushed off her feet but she provided fantastic service with a smile. As we were leaving the pub there was a man on the street who had drunk a little too much, Leona brought some water out and a chair for the man and ensured he was ok. Can’t rate her enough!

A crackin pint of lager. Only came for a couple mid week whilst visiting the area but I'm sure I'll come to this place again. Quite lively as well for mid week....much more of an atmosphere that spoons on this particular night.

Lovely pub , sometimes you can smell the piss from the toilets though. It's smaller than most pubs but it's got great character and a good enough selection of drinks to choose from. It might look and seem a bit rough if you visit for the 1st time but I'm from the area and not bothered by it , it might seem like it though if your posh or visiting from a posh area. It's well worth a visit and a much better pub than the Glassblower on Bank Street.

This place was fine dosent really stand out from other places in the town but it does the job, plus you do get the sports in there.
