HSBC Castleford

I visited hsbc castleford branch as I needed help and do not know how to work a lot of technology, I and was genuinely impressed by the level of service I received. The staff member was friendly , attentive, and incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly without rushing me. It’s refreshing to walk into a bank where you feel welcomed and supported rather than just another number in the queue. The staff member I believe was named Jodie was very patient friendly and just compassionate in general she is a credit to the branch very lovely lady. Thanks again -Linda

Excelent service made by Lucy Ta... greate place from many years. 10 k cash out without earier order and always smile and helphull with pinting extra history for free and they give me connect to they wifi to sort my problem wit busines aplication. Perfect

Told I have to visit my nearest branch to update my name on my mortgage (every other bank accepted a digital copy) yet their opening hours are impossible for anyone who works full time! Had a random weekday off recently so finally chance to go, got there and they had a sign up saying they were closed! Thank goodness I don't bank with them too! Update: I finally visited them several weeks ago, they assured me my name would be updated. I've spoken to HSBC on webchat and they tell me the branch haven't done it!!

We went in on the 18th March 2024 to resolve an account issue. We spoke to a lady behind the counter who was rude and unhelpful from the beginning. She questioned why we had come to this branch, we had to justify living in the area to her. I explained i was there to help my Polish friend as English is not his first language and the way she acted towards him showed blatant racism. She asked very intrusive questions and laughed in our faces at some genuine banking questions. She didn't help at all to resolve the queries and we are now closing the account because of her actions. Staff training on professionalism, diversity and unconcious bias is needed at this branch.

Excellent customer service. I've been there this morning and took my time when filling in a pay in slip for a check machine. The lady advisor/staff member noticed that on herself and helped me with all the questions. Thank you.
