Lloyds Bank

I was in there yesterday, yes things has changed since the Halifax has merged and the big difference is how unpleasant the staff are from the Halifax branch, I've given this bank 5 stars over the phone after there help on a number of occasions, yesterday I was struggling with the pay in machine which they insist you use or go to the post office they keep saying but this time I asked the lady on the counter if she could help she more or less laughed and closed the counter very abruptly. A lady on the machine at the side of me also commented on how rude she was. It's like the staff in the bank hate anyone walking through the door to use the bank services, I'm not impressed, me and my girlfriend both have business accounts with this bank and if this continues, with impolite staff and bad service I'll close mine and advise the GF to do the same, good manners go a long way and showing willingness to help people, the service is now shocking, if there was 0 stars for yesterday that's what I'd of give. I hope things improve but I doubt it🤷

I'm 60 yrs old I was originally with tsb n was moved to lloyds in the 44 yrs I've been with tsb n lloyds have I had any problem there a great bank and I've never had any issues with em staff great great service

In a landscape where banks are closing, this Lloyds branch has become my go-to, providing reliable service without any issues. The staff consistently exhibit friendliness, creating a positive atmosphere during each visit. While my interactions have been limited to depositing money, the process has been consistently quick, easy, and trouble-free. However, the opening and closing times, as well as the absence of weekend service, can be a bit inconvenient. These factors slightly detract from the overall accessibility of the bank.

Trying to sort something again urgently and again you get a robot asking you stupid questions giving you loads of info you don’t need and then after ten minutes of that rubbish tells you that everyone else is busy and it will be at least 20 minutes before someone can answer your call half hour later it’s back to work for anyone living in the real world dinner brake is over and no further forwards useless system . Ps I had to put one star or it wouldn’t let me post trust me it would be 0 stars given .

Good service,fast,friendly,lloyds staff. Seven months later sorted my lost credit card replacement,very quickly and smoothly. Only been in branch twice in Castleford branch,both times very kind,happy,careing staff. Thank you so much,to the staff.
