They never ever get it right! Told medication is ready, it never is. Always have to go back 2 or 3 times! On top of that they are so rude especially the older lady with bright lipstick, she gives this company a bad reputation. The pharmacist needs to check medication thoroughly before hes signing it off! One or two mistakes fine, but every month!! I feel like they do this on purpose as they know I have difficulty in getting to the pharmacy and they never answer the phone saying they are too busy! Surely not! I dread going here! I only go as I have Mobility issues. If you can go to another place go. Avoid avoid avoid!

I have been using this chemist for a few years now and I can honestly say the staff are so rude and every time I go for my medication there is always a problem and undermining attitude I totally understand that people are busy these days and me working in a mental capacity unit totally understand some situations. but I do feel that I am being singled out every time I go in there . I am told to take directions like I was a child at school and in doing what I’m told still have problems thay NEVER get it write. This needs to be sorted or some one is going to loose there cool and it could turn nasty.

The staff are under so much pressure and work so very hard and i really appreciate them all so very much. David and the amazing lady's do a great job so I'd like to say to them all I appreciate each and every one of you so very much and a massive Thank you to you all . Keep up the great work πŸ‘ πŸ‘. πŸ€—πŸ€— This is a message to the owner of cohens chemist. Iv been reading some posts on here and its nice to see that you post back to bad reviews. I would like to say this to you directly so let's hope you read this. I have used your chemist on smawthone lane since I moved to castleford in 2012 and seen many changes and so so many more customers especially when the other one in castleford closed so they got all of the clients they went to 1 on smawthone then so many more people moving to the area and your staff are run off there feet . David has loads more work put onto him . The guy who complained about the keyboard your staff dont have time to breath most off the time and customers speak to them in a disrespectful way and at times its not always there fault they dont have there script its down to the Dr's too . It angers me when in in shop and some people speak to them in such a vile way its really not on and they shouldn't be spoken to in that manner. Also do have a cleaner in this shop ? Because in my opinion your staff dont have the time they even struggle to stock the shelfs at times . They all work very very hard and dont warrant the abuse they get . I hope you get to see this and hopefully support your super star staff . Many thanks. Vikki.

When I moved to Castleford a couple of years ago I was really worried about going to a new pharmacy but the staff here are amazing (particularly the lady who works most mornings-brown hair in a bun, around my mam's age (I want to make sure I highlight the right person! I hope that's okay to say 😊) and she always chats to me/my daughter!) I'm autistic and have really bad social anxiety, usually I have to explain this in person to people so they understand but she's always so lovely and makes me feel at ease. Even when things don't go as planned she always does what she can to help and during long waiting times always chats to make me/my daughter feel welcome. Thank you so much 😁
