Extremely rude member of staff. A lady was looking at clothes and a dress had not been on the hanger properly, it fell on the floor and she hung it over the rail. The shop assistant barged into me angrily as she went to aggressively put it on the hanger properly while staring at the woman who was obviously none the wiser. Needs a lesson in customer service and that her job includes putting clothes on hangers from time to time.

Top was marked up as £26. When I got to till was told it was £28 and not £26 and that's what I had to pay whether I liked it or not. I thought it was illegal to do that, but the woman behind the counter didn't care. That's the second time this year that has happened to me. Last time was in Matalan, Chesterfield. What is going on? Do these big stores think they are above the law now?

I have started buying more clothes from Roman lately. More choice in the types of materials on offer. Lots of shops selling loads of polyester. But Roman do jersey, cotton and of course polyester. The style is more to my advancing senior years these days. This shop had plenty of choice. However shopping online does give you more choice. But I do like to support the high street shops so an extra outfit or two never goes a miss.
