I buy from the gift company often and always spend plenty.. I have never had a issue with any of the shops before and intend to go to the one in Scarborough next month..I bought this planter it has polystyrene remnants round the bottom like it had a bod but none was provided...it cost £40 and I had to spend 20 pence on a bag..I know it's not petty me complaining..it's a breakable item...the cashier seemed dis interested

I have just bought a wall clock from Gift Company in Castleford. The sales person on the till was extremely rude. He saw me standing next to till for a long time without asking me if I need some assistance or anything but just looking at his PC screen instead. Furthermore when I asked about the clocks which are placed behind the till he was snappy with me and he had an attitude. I bought the item but I will never go there again. What a terrible customer service! They should definitely find some reasonable staff when selling such expensive items.

Horrible and tacky, cheap and tasteless, and that's not even about the products! Old fat blonde lady was incredibly rude to my 2 year old, her attitude made me wince more than the ceramic pug lampshades.

Great items to buy but very poor attitude from manager this Sunday as we changed our mine on our purchase. The staff member looked annoyed. Where has customer service gone here since Covid. Perhaps she would prefer no customers and redundancy instead. We will not be returning.

The woman that works there wants to be given some customer service training telling a 4yr old child of is not her place my granddaughter knows not to touch items like you sell so not to break them. She reduced my granddaughter to tears then said she hadn't done anything when other customers had heard her . I will no longer shop within this outlet
