When you often think of the old days they used to be diy shops , paint and decorating shops and anything under the sun THEN the big outlets came and swallowed up everything under one roof !! It gives me great pleasure in knowing that one of our local Castleford stores remains as one big shop for everything in decorating and paints plus every tool you’ll need to use ! ( the same goes for the tile shop on aire street ) Almurads decorating shop offers vast product range in all types of wallpapers and paint for internal and external Backed with great knowledge and advice Simple things like making sure if ,you’ve picked up your own wallpaper rolls that they have the same batch numbers ( very important and even traders have made that mistake ) They will gladly help with your measurements to assess how many rolls you may require. When doing works for customers I always recommend their shop or go and choose for our customer Mainly taking samples offered by Almurads ( usually of a roll about 60cm by them ) Which means you can take it home or to that customers house , to see the real effects of that wallpaper As I did in the following photographs! sometimes it’s a little safer to over order on a roll or two which WITH. A receipt would gladly take back and refund ( undamaged ) Both places offer friendly and great service and appreciate your business I know quite a few customers will travel even from York to little old Castleford , knowing this There’s easy parking outside for a small fee ( pay machine for street ) or right next to it a larger carpark council run fare price and I believe they are introducing 2hrs free ( please check signs in carpark zones ) less than 50 yards from the store Almurads is a family run business and their starting point ,many many years ago was originally the tile shop on aire street before purchasing a much larger store , hence the capacity to supply many choices and stock of paints Yes almurads are from India heritage and probably respectively offer a very larger scale of wallpaper selections across many tastes and national influences 🙏❤️🌎 Such as like in the photos this beautifully different 3D effective wallpaper Already eyeing up another type of marbling styled for a living room ,just out this last month or so So give it a go , get down to Almurads public and traders alike If they haven’t got it !! They can’t be much more or another place that has a different one ? So GO there first to view go elsewhere and you know where to come back to !! Number one in my book for personal home decoration and forwarding to customers or giving recommendations on these review platforms I’ll only review that I’ve had good experiences with and are worthy of a mention and beyond The best form of advertising is by word of mouth the second this way Happy days and happy shopping

I only went in to look for a tub of filler on this occasion they had what I needed but only in small tubs so I had to get 2 which probably cost more. The staff i encountered were pleasant enough and the store was clean and tidy. If your looking for wallpaper there's plenty of choice in there.
