The ladies at the shop were nice , they helped so much but experience which I had later with my gold ring was shocking . My ring was somewhere sent for resizing to make it smaller. Ring was bought abroad, it’s was 2 weeks old when I gave them to resize. Glad I did video of my ring before I gave them so I know I’ll get the same ring which I gave to them . When I come to collect my ring I didn’t realise that stamps inside the ring are missing . I only checked my ring at home , I had laser stamps of 14ct and signature of jeweller inside the ring . Outside ring had serial numbers . When I came back and told them about my stamps they don’t want to believe me but glad I had video which I showed and proved them I had them stamps , they told me they will redo stamps and that’s will takes 4 weeks. I been trying to contact customer service 3-5 times and they been ignoring me and after 4 weeks they told me that they not see my emails and that I need to wait 2 more weeks . When I received my ring back , I went home to check it again and they did stamp for 14ct but other stamp of signature is still missing . Outside my ring now have couple of scuffs ( like pieces missing ) . I didn’t get any apologies from them , didn’t get any refund for this , nothing ! And customer service trying to tell me that my ring is same as it was given to them but I have video how my ring looked and ring how it’s looks now . The worst place to give your jewellery for repair or resizing.

Selling ring claiming you can swap it and then when we try to swap it they are refusing to swap it as its been worn .So my question is what do you expect after I been asked to be married to take the ring back in the box and wait to swap it .? I had bandage over it so i could wear it on my holiday even the manager told my partner no problem they can swap it after if its big which it is..

I’ve used Chapelle Jewellery Junction 32 Castleford) on a few occasions now, and every time I’ve been treated with respect and nothing was too much trouble, but on my last visit James helped me with a repair on my Citizen Eco Watch (Red Arrows) and when I asked if he could source a new / original display box for my watch he was unsure if he could source one, but he has managed to get me a replacement box which my watch will now proudly sit in when I am not wearing it. So if you want that person/company to go above and beyond then I would highly recommend Chapelle Jewellery at Castleford. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I usually don’t leave reviews, but felt compelled to write in this instance as I simply cannot recommend the Staff at Chapelle Castleford enough. In particular, I would like to thank James and Cherise for all their help and exemplary service over the last two years when nothing at all was ever too much trouble. Thank-you Both for keeping me informed especially with regards to my engagement ring, you never failed to acknowledge the significance and emotion attached to it and I can't thank you enough for consistently going way above and beyond to make me a very happy Customer. I live 200 miles away, but will always make the journey as the Customer Service is second to none. Thank-you again.
