REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS! Do not use this thief! An iPad 10 was declared with an internal hardware issue and deemed unrepairable, so he sold us a clearly used replacement for £340 ( he told us to come back in 20 minutes and shut the shop to buy it from the local market) on the 7th of November (Argos have a brand new one for £299) as a last resort the condemned iPad was set up under a different Apple ID and it worked perfectly….. The used replacement was taken back for a refund on the 10th of November and he said he could only give £210 back! He clearly knew there was nothing wrong with the first iPad and offered £40 as a spare screen. I dread to think he could have made a few hundred pounds more by selling the first iPad, which was returned without its expensive, genuine Apple protective case.

I got a iPhone 6s charged it up to 100% and took it off charge 7am and by 9.15 am phone shuts off it at ran out of charge and I was only talking on messenger. I know from experience that the battery is gone and needs a new one and I paid £140 for the phone.

Firstly 2 of the 3 reviews for this place are by the same person who I have found works there. Secondly AVOID AVOID AVOID The worst customer service experience I've ever had. Bought a phone from cex and went here to get it unlocked. Was told £20 and 2-3 days. They took my contact information and told me they would ring me with any updates. After 5 days of no word I decided to go back to the shop to enquire what was happening. I was told that they were having troubles getting a code. Fair enough. When asked why I wasn't contacted with an update as why it was late I was told because they didn't have a code. "but you said you would keep me updated" I said. After giving me a new number to contact them on because the number listed doesn't work they guaranteed it would be sorted by the next day. Next day comes. And I waited till 2pm to call them... Surprise this number didn't work either. So after traipsing back again I was told they couldn't do it. And when I asked for a refund the guy at the front dest tried telling me he'd got in touch with me which he hadn't. Please... AVOID AVOID AVOID
