Big thanks to Colin and the whole team for the amazing ski boot fitting service! It was way more technical than I expected, and I learned so much during the process. I absolutely love my new boots. The customer service was fantastic – couldn’t recommend them highly enough! A tip for anyone thinking about new boots: it’s not about picking the pair you like the colour of. Go in with an open mind and let the experts understand your budget and needs – they’ll find the right boots for you. These guys really know what’s best! Debra G

Extremely poor boot fitting service. I have used my fitted boots (with fitted insoles) over 2 seasons with major pain in both feet. When I took them back to the shop after each use they "blew" out the boot each time. This only made the pain worse. Now I have a £400 useless pair of boots. What makes this so disappointing is that when I quote back to them "you get 70% credit towards a new pair if you aren't happy" - they deny all knowledge of this product warranty and just say "you have the right boots - sorry!". One year on from my last use of the boots - I still have discomfort in my feet. I have been to see a BUPA foot consultant and had MRI scans. All because of a poor boot fitting service. Think carefully before you make the same mistake that I did.

I booked an appointment for a new ski boot fitting at the Ellis Brigham shop in Xscape Castleford & had to cancel at the last minute due to ordering some online. When these arrived & fitted well 'out of the box' I phoned to explain & re-booked to have these fine-tuned & footbeds fitted. When I arrived they couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. Ollie gave my new boots (purchased elsewhere) a comprehensive going over prior to conducting a thorough analysis of my feet followed by precise professional footbed moulding, shell grinding & heat moulding of the liners - all at a very reasonable price. Best fitting ski-boots in over 30 years of ski-ing! Highly recommended.

Honestly one of the best retail experiences I have had in recent years. The staff (Jacob and Ted) were both extremely knowledgeable about their craft and very friendly. Could not recommend this location enough if you are looking to purchase ski/snowboard equipment.

Just had a custom boot fitting at this store with Tom Starbuck. He was absolutely fantastic, really helpful, polite, easy and fun to talk to, very attentive and knowledgeable about all aspects of ski boots and skiing in general. The other staff in the store were also great, had a lovely, helpful woman that ordered a jacket in which they didn’t have the right size in store and a lovely bloke who made us a coffee whilst I was having a fitting. Overall had a brilliant experience and will be recommending this store to family and friends.
