Ordered a last minute bottle of whisky before Christmas, unfortunately transpired due to a system issue it was actually out of stock after order accepted, so they very kindly upgraded to a superior bottle for no extra cost and it made it in time for Christmas! The kind of service you can only get from wonderful independent shops such as Hic! Will 100% use again in the future.

I have just received my first online order from Hic! The delivery was super quick , the packaging to secure the bottles fantastic. Best of all was their having the wine available I had been looking for in a while, a lovely pinot noir from Australia I had tried in an airline lounge ( thank you EK for the intro! ) . To add, they put a small personal note. It's the small things that make a difference.

Go here! So knowledgeable about wine. My brother and me enjoyed some wine and meat/cheese platter before heading across the road for dinner. These sorts of local unique businesses are very much worth our support, we enjoyed the hospitality and I pop in for decent bottles of wine.

Ordered from here for delivery to Hertfordshire. The first one was damaged by the courier no fault of the shop. so called the shop. They was very helpful and dispatched the replacement the same day as my call. This arrived the next day ahead of when I even expected it. Packaged very well. Very easy to deal with. It’s often not what a company does when it does well that defines them it’s how they handle it when it goes a little bit wrong and I was very impressed with the service from this shop. Will defo use again and recommend
