Recently attended the cosy old style pub The Old Hill inn, whilst staying at Phillip Farm Campsite. The pub is well decorated and rich with history filled stories, Bean told us a few good stories that were great to listen to. Matching the good stories are a good selection of beers and spirits. Great little pub set in a fantastic location overlooking the hills of Yorkshire. The owner Bean is absolutely lovely, if there’s a pub you should visit whilst in the Yorkshire Dales it’s this one! Thanks Bean !

Want to thank the owners for their hospitality today after my dad suffered loss of feeling in his legs after walking on the three peaks track. Also want to thank the fellow walkers who aided my dad back to the inn. Was nice for owner to allow us to come in on day they normally closed and cook us lovely bacon sandwich and drink. Can't thank you all enough 🙏 :)

The lovely couple let me hang out whilst my friends did the third of the three peaks. Lovely little place. Also the gingerbread is delicious.

We popped into The Old Hill Inn for a quick break before hiking our final hill – Ingleborough – and it was just what we needed. The lady who greeted us was so kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed a proper cup of tea before heading back out. Cosy, friendly, and the perfect pit stop to rest your legs and recharge. Would definitely recommend to fellow walkers in the area!

A lovely site for a campervan stopover. Brilliant location for Ingleborough and Whernside. Flat pitches, great views, electric. The pub isn't always open, and it wasn't on a Tues night in late March, but I went in to pay for the pitch and I know I'm going back when it is! And I'm not hanging about as the lovely landlady is talking about retirement.
