Awesome bit of history.. Loved walking round the grounds with the Mrs. Was 6 quid odd entry but it's all good if it goes back into keeping the castle running. Not the biggest grounds to walk around but can spend a good 2 and a half hours looking around.
the castle here is interesting and is some what interactive. very good value for money and the gift shop sells good products.
One of the best if not the best example of Norman castle keep in the UK, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Excellent visitors centre and lots of things to see in the surrounding area.
