I am absolutely disgusted with a member of staff at this store, I was using the self serve counter, when I came to take my shopping he was picking up the basket and I was grabbing my shopping back he was so close to me that he shouted wow! This was so unprofessional of him clearly I was not done so why would a member of staff get so close ? Secondly why try to cause a drama by shouting? Had he not come from behind none of this would have happened. I have left very uncomfortable and disturbed by his behaviour and I will not be visiting this store again.
2021 Update after renovation It does look better, more organised. There's also a better selection of beer now. 2020 virus update They now have a covid queuing system. Red means wait green means go. There are now perspex screens to protect the cashiers. There's also hand sanitiser just after you enter. Most people inside aren't wearing masks ( I was one of the few). There are 2 meter lines on the floor but these are generally ignored except at the checkout but that's not Aldi's fault. Old review from 2017 Good cheap food, beer etc.
Hardly any tills open in a morning and after 7 so that your forced to use self checkout.basically helping the goverment with facial reconitipn on people as the silver square on the checkout is a camera,if like me you dont want that,simple ask for cashback and they gotta open a till to sort cashback.a few times ive had them moaning but tough
I always by my good so I don't need to go to town
Asoon as I walked in the store a member of staff told security to watch me made me feel uncomfortable made my anxiety bad as I suffer with bad anxiety staff are rude and the way I was followed till I pulled money out my pocket to pay for my stuff think it’s absolutely disgusting
