The hotel was experiencing some problems the night of my stay, no water in any of the rooms. Also the kitchen closed due to another problem in the morning, so no cooked breakfast. None of this was the fault of the staff, who were great and did their best. If everything works ok it's a good cheap place to stay and eat. It's a good location for Doncaster and the surrounding area.

For me there were 2 issues. Albeit the family room was actually a clean decent size with modern bathroom but 1. We emailed ahead to ask if they had mattresses for the toddler travel cot for our 2 year old as if not we would have brought our own travel one but wanted to save space in our car if they had their own. We were told the cots had mattresses but when we got there the cot wasnt in the room and when it came later on it only had the hard piece that goes in the bottom of the cot which is not a mattress and how any hotel can expect a baby/toddler to sleep on it is beyond me (shpuld advise on website to bring your own) . Reception was as accommodating as they could be and my son (2yrs) slept on a double quilt folded up and i brought his quilt from home as they also dont provide cot quilts but i had asked ahead and prepped for that. Going forward hotel needs to be clear... Yes they provide a cot but there is no mattress or quilt with it so bring your own 2. Although reception advised to get to our room we had to pass wet floor signs and buckets in the corridor due to a recent leak they assured the leak was fixed and just wanted to make us aware of the visual asthetics but i feel it was played down alot as when we walked past with our 2 and 5 yr olds we had to go through about 5 metres of soaked carpet which squelched when we walked .. God only knows how dirty that water was so as soon as we got in the room it was shoes off for every one at the door. Although it wasnt the be all and end all and didnt affect the room it did make the hotel look a little grubby and not very good with young children. The staff were friendly and as accommodating as could be but this hotel seemed a little over priced in my opinion £120 a night family room for the circumstances we had

This place is definitely one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I room was freezing the window didn't close mold all over the place. The bed was damp. When I went to complain to the management think he was called Craig (not 100% on this.) not a nice man anyway. All he was bothered about was his next pay day.looking and his response to people complaining as sarcastic sums him up.i did not say long enough to try the food afterwards. Definitely don't recommend this place to anyone and really could do with knocking down and starting again with a nice new team.

Nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast added in with the stay is great and available from 7am so this is good for early bird. Easy to park with a lot of spaces. Safe with keycards to get in after dark. Person on site in case of issue is a big plus. Only negative I think is. Maybe the price could be £10 cheaper to stay one night. I would use more often.
