Staff are all friendly and a good laugh always helpful. The gym, toilets, changing rooms are always clean. It's the best sports place I've ever been too. 10/10. I always look forward going to.
The hall was clean and large, so plenty of room to move around. There are plenty of classes to choose from. I went to strong by zumba . I used to go to this class on an evening before covid struck. This is the first time I have seen the class being advertised in the Aspire app since the lockdown has been lifted. Nicola Morgan took the class and gave a great workout. Nicola was encouraging, and her knowledge shone through as she spoke of adaptions to certain moves for those who had injuries and medical conditions. It was an all-over body workout, and I felt great afterwards. Only downside is that I can only attend this class when on annual leave as I work during the day.
It is what it is, a sport complex, public swimming pool, range of exercises classes avalable to public, such as yoga, zumba, exercise dancing. Football and rugby training avalable, gym and fitness training. Full range of fitness
We booked our daughters into a fast-track swimming course at this pool. The building itself is a little dated and a couple of times when the wind blows through the door it blows the polystyrene ceiling tiles up. The staff are brilliant and have been very helpful and flexible with us needing to change times and wanting to increase the number of sessions they were attending. The pool was very quiet over the half term so at one point our two girls had 1 to 2 tuition which has been great for helping them build confidence and improve. The pool itself is very clean and well-kept. It's clear that the staff take a lot of pride. If the pool gets a refit at somepoint, a coin operated hairdryer in the changing room would be useful.
I've started to train regular at the sports complex and find it has a good range of equipment. Changing rooms are clean as are the toilets (just fix the little water leak). It's a fantastic venue for wheelchair sports basketball and rugby. The large sports hall is kept clean and I believe the rates are reasonable.
