Really good fish & chips, excellent in fact. However I suspect that due to a lack of staff the service was not very good. Initially I waited by the sign that said ‘wait here to be seated’. No one appeared to allocate me a table. I approached the serving counter to ask if to just sit at a table. I was told yes, but had to ask for a menu. The table with the condiments on had dirty vinegar bottles and no cutlery. The food was delicious and delivered in a very acceptable time space. I will be returning as the quality of the meal outweighed the disappointing service.

My wife and I had a coffee each and shared a cake on a cold, glowery, December day. We got our drinks at tge counter and sat in a side room with windows looking out at the sea. It would have been fine except they had three different devices blasting different music at us. The noise was intolerable so we drank quickly and left. We were the only people inside. Other customers were bundled up in thick coats and hats, suffering the cold and drizzle outside. I suspect the person who does the cleaning didn't want customers inside. I won't go back.

Chips and a drink both ok for a sea side f&c shop. But the attitude of the man behind the fryer was disgusting. Swearing at staff in frount of customers very unprofessional. I get everyone busy and a few areas had people waiting but leave the kids who were serving alone to get on with the job instead of barking at them every 2 minutes.

Right on the front overlooking the water, it's in a great spot. Food, as is usual when on the seafront is pretty pricey: £10.25 for fish and chips, £3.50 for a cappuccino and £5 for a chip barm. So yeah it costs a bit. The fish was huge though! Freshly caught and freshly fried and it was really good. Very tasty. We enjoyed our lunch here and it's in a nice location.

Food was nice but it cost nearly £50 for 3 fish butties and 1 tiny box of chips, so very expensive. However it was very filling. The people at the counter were lovely but there was a man shouting alot in the back at the staff which made me feel bad for them. I saw the same man later shouting at someone who worked at the toilets and again later telling a customer off for sitting on the wall with a beer telling her to turn around, which if it was me I would have been mortified infront of all those people. Also it was quite dirty inside.
