Welcoming staff and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Its size is deceptive: plenty of seating beyond the initial counter. The vegan full English was better than the usual fayre and a good size. Nice of options for the kids too.
Proof that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Mum was feeling faint so we needed to find somewhere to sit down quickly. Dashed in here because the cafe opposite was full. It doesn’t look much from the outside. The windows were steaming up and we thought it was an ordinary greasy spoon. We only had a tea each and shared a bowl of chips. OMG they were great chips! We’ve since gone back and ordered exactly the same.
Great little cafe on the Main Street of Filey. Sit inside and it’s perfect. The missing star is the horrible seagulls jumping all over the tables in the lovely outside bit at the back. I know it’s on the sea front, but I don’t want flying rats going for the left over food when trying to have a nice lunch. A net over the back would do the trick.

Brilliant little find this. Food excellent well cooked good portion size. Very reasonable prices. Big pot of tea for 2 . Dog friendly too. Will be back. 2 ladies serving brilliant in all ways
