Station Avenue Car park

Reasonably sized car park. At the top end of the town, so a fair walk down (and back up!) if you've got kids and beach stuff to lug, but it's cheaper than the others.

Had a bad experience here while on holiday. Parked, found the machine, brought up the Ring go app on my phone. Station Avenue appeared on my phone. I clicked on 2 hours and paid. Returned home and a week later I get a parking charge letter for £60 fee, saying I parked for an hour and a quarter and did not pay. Gob smacked!!!! I appealed the charge and sent a copy of the receipt from Ring go. They replied and said I had paid for the wrong car park. Scratching head now........... After a bit of detective work, I find I had paid for the other Station Avenue car park . The moral of this tail is when paying check that the address and the code on the paying machine match. This was my mistake, as I had never encounterd two car parks nearly next door to each other with the same name, but different codes. Be careful, very careful..............

Visiting filey this was not easy to find and cost a fortune! We couldn't pay by card so again had to find yet another car park to go to, this was already the second one we visited. I'm not surprised the car parks where full of empty spaces, no way but cash to pay or non working payment options isn't good for business.

Had to download the ringgo app as the machine only takes coins and i didn't have any. On a previous photo says charges apply March to October but not when I've just gone in January. Car park itself is fine and not too far from the beach and centre.

Would put no stars if I could. After looking on Google for parking found this one on the picture it said free off peak parking we did see I meter and a app so paid regardless Parked there with the family with three cars two of the cars received parking tickets when the app said running low on time we press to top up and it said no payment necessary with it been a Sunday and off peak season I thought it must of been free. So we was 30mins late back £60 fine of £100 after so many days I appeal lost it now wait for isa to look at it. £2 per min fine minimum that’s great
