I am very grateful to Gareth for going out of his way to help me when I was locked out of my house on a cold December Saturday evening in Scarborough. He was friendly, helpful and very efficient. This contrasted markedly with the attitude of other locksmiths I contacted. Yorkshire Coast Locksmiths can be highly recommended.

I called into the shop in Filey on Saturday morning to get a key cut which was done efficiently and at a reasonable price by the friendly member of staff. The shop is well stocked with diy tools and fittings, it also carries a good range of security products such as safes, locks ect. I'll certainly be calling again.
I tried a few locksmith companies because I could not access my safe. The internal battery died. I won't bore you with an explanation. One locksmith, Scarborough Locksmiths, wanted to charge, £195 plus vat for the first hour. Contacted this firm. Stephen was very pleasant on the telephone. I then spoke to Gareth Steve's son, who came out. Charged £60 and opened the safe within one minute. Brilliant. Top locksmiths. Highly recommended.
My Front door lock broke, it's a UPVC door. I phoned them and the chap came round in a couple of hours. New lock fitted and all the hinges and lockplates adjusted. It's like a new door and the lock is so easy to use. Absolutely excellent service. Thank you so much.
