Filey Post Office

Big thank you to Marie for all her help and support displaying my artwork in Ga11ery Eleven. I absolutely appreciate all the time spent setting everything up, nothing was to much trouble. Thank you Marie and Ben. Keep up your fantastic cheerful and witty service to our Filey community 😀

Rather brusque, frankly, and not very helpful with anything other than very basic things. They have made various mistakes in the past and today they gave me someone else's receipt for a tracked package instead of mine, so I've got someone else's tracking number which of course is no use to me. Slapdash. Very quick to dissociate themselves from "the Royal Mail" rather than actually help: they must realise they are the face of RM. Oh dear, we quite often drive to the post office in Seamer instead so as to avoid the Filey one, but whenever we do go to the Filey one they tend to be a disappointment. Hence the 2 stars, I genuinely can't see how I can give them more than that.

I have just witness an absolutely horrible act from the workers as they refused to cash someone’s check even tho they had valid id this is outrageous and they came up with any excuse to get them out the door with a dumb look on their faces.

I’m a local business owner and use the post office most days, the staff are amazing. I especially enjoy Ben’s positive outlook on life and witty charm. Incredibly helpful couldn’t do enough for you

As the majority of my family live in either America and Australia, I am frequently visiting the Post Office with parcels or cards I need to send. On several occasions I've needed advice or help, and the young lady behind the counter called Marie has helped me tremendously. She's always super friendly and happy to help, I wish staff in other shops were more like her.
