What a hidden gem! Extensive menu, homemade cakes the size of your hand, all reasonably priced but such high quality! So happy we found this cosy little cafe cos it's such a highlight of our time in Filey!

I was passing through from out of town and stopped in for lunch. Great place, clearly a lot of effort is being put into running it well. Excellent food, nice staff, pretty little cafe

If I could I would give less than one!!!! Rude ignorant person serving. I said hi nothing, then 2 bacon sandwiches freezing cold she took them away to the microwave my partner ate alone a cheap nasty sausage sandwich nothing was cooking couldn’t smell anything AVOID !!!! HONESTLY so bad.

Moved to Filey 3 years ago and there was nowhere to buy coffee etc at the rail station then I was so pleased when the Saucy Seagull opened and now I buy a coffee every time I travel on the train which is very frequently, and sometimes a treat on the way home! Lovely friendly staff, lovely cakes and food. Congratulations on your 2nd year and long may you continue x

Had the breakfast, the bacon was warmed up and tough, toast was soggy and the mushrooms were undercooked and watery, the eggs were good,though mine came out broken. Didn't really see the staff, only to serve and bring the food out. Had to leave mine yuk🤮
