Complaint: Manager's Behavior at Heron Foods on Filey I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and distress at the behavior of a manager at your Heron Foods store in Filey. Today, the 12/08/2025 I witnessed the manager, a skinny white lady with a bun in her hair, speaking to one of her staff members in a completely unacceptable manner. The incident occurred in the toilet paper aisle, where the manager was belittling the staff member in front of numerous customers, including myself. The manager's tone was condescending, and her words were hurtful and demeaning. I was shocked and appalled by the way she spoke to the staff member, and I couldn't help but feel embarrassed for the poor woman. As a customer, it was distressing to witness such unprofessional behavior, especially in a public area. The manager's actions not only humiliated the staff member but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone in the surrounding area. I want to emphasize that the manager's behavior was not only unacceptable but also unprofessional. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, and I also expect the staff to be treated with dignity and respect by their management. Unfortunately, due to this incident, I will no longer be shopping at your store. I believe that the way a company treats its staff is a reflection of its values, and I do not wish to support a business that allows such behavior. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take necessary actions to address the issue.

Great store- great prices. All except one older member of staff are really nice. This particular person has a bad attitude and can be quite offhand to the point of rudeness and let's the team down.
