Beachdale Guesthouse

So lucky to find place with ground floor bedroom. Lovely place, room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Good powerful shower in ensuite. Great breakfast with good choice. As for Agnes and Cliff, they were just so welcoming. We plan to return.

This is a beautiful guesthouse. The beds are so comfy and really great hospitality tray. The whole place is peaceful, spotless and very tastefully decorated. Agnes and Cliff are fantastic hosts and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Couldn’t fault this wonderful b&b at all. Clean, quiet and decorated to a fabulous standard. Breakfast was amazing and there was a vegetarian option that was substantial, a great bonus as this doesn’t tend to be thought about. Lots of lovely touches that go a long way, will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family! Thanks Heather and Matt for a lovely stay.

We have just stayed for one night. What a lovely experience, from the moment we arrived we were impressed, the guesthouse was immaculately clean, very nicely decorated, the room, "beachhuts" was very clean and comfortable. The bed was just just perfect. Breakfast, I had full English was perfectly cooked. Our hosts were delightful.. If we could, we would award them six stars..

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were made to feel welcome. The room we stayed in had recently been redecorated as had the whole place and it showed, this is probably the best guest house we have stayed in. The menu choices for breakfast were varied and as we were staying the whole week I was able to sample it all. The choice we had was brilliant and much more than some other hotels/ b & b's we have stayed in. Cliff & Agnes were fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble. If you are planning to visit Filey then I can highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed. The place is a short walk to Glen Gardens and then to the Beach. Parking is free on the roadside, the only thing you need to be aware of is you might have to park in the nearest available spot, which might not be outside the place, but this was not an hardship when we were there as the place was so good, but you need to be aware of this. Will definitely be staying again next time we visit Filey.
