Rooms were spotless and bed very comfy. Service was superb. Wendy and Gareth were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was outstanding and very tasty. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.
My friend and I walked the Cleveland Way. The Forge was our residence for two evenings. Wendy and Gareth provided the perfect place for our stay. They were kind and attentive. They saw to all our needs and made us feel welcomed in their guesthouse. The Forge is extremely clean. The breakfasts were wonderful.
Our Stay, with Wendy & Gareth at the Forge guest house was Very nice. Very nice hosts, food was fab, and all needs were accounted for. Very clean & all amenities good. Couldn't fault anything it was a pleasure to stay in this little gem. Look forward to going back in the not too distant future.
As and when we go back to Filey and need to stay in a guest house, we will 100% be re booking to stay at The Forge. From the moment we walked in, until we stepped out to leave, Wendy, who had only just taken over that week, was amazing. Tea and cake on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely, and even added an extra to the menu especially for my other half! The room was spotless and well equipped with everything you would need and more, the toiletries were eco friendly and smelled lovely. Bed was comfy and the who place just felt welcoming. Can't wait to re visit
I have stayed at this guest house 3 times and it has always been excellent. It is spotlessly clean and well decorated. The bedrooms are complete with everything you are likely to need for your stay and more besides. Andrew and Sarah are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast excellent with a large choice of food. I would not hesitate to recommend The Forge. It is a credit to Filey!
