As others have said very dated, over rated, very expensive for what it is and old dirty facilities. It is definitely not a secure site and anyone can walk around the site day and night. This could be a wonderful site if it had proper investment and management. At these prices it should be up to European standards.
Great location and toilet block was clean. The water fill points and pot wash are not close by depending on where you pitch and that is same for toilets. The staff are terrible and have no customer service skills. They couldn't be less interested in helping. But otherwise a great site to get to beech and visit Filey.
The location of the site is lovely. The facilities are dated and mouldy. The mature ladies that comprised the cleaning and reception staff are incredibly rude. I wouldn't recommend or return due to the staff attitude, there's no need to speak so rudely to people.
Haven't been camping in years, and wanted to go somewhere I have been before, and I am glad we randomly picked here as it was lovely! The showers are warm, and cleaned often, but the floor could likely do with being redone. We were able to set up our tent where ever we wanted so we went face to face to have our chairs together outside the two tents. The only reason why we haven't given full stars is because we called multiple times over 3 days and never got a call back, or a call answered. The late checkout for only £10 almost made up for it since we could live at 5pm instead of 12pm. We will be back again in the future as the area is lovely and full of nostalgia!
Great site for visiting Filey. Toilet blocks are clean even in peak season. The only negative is the motorhome service point location which is very close to the dish washing area
