We had a lovely stay in Silverline Cottage. The downstairs accommodation with its own en-suite was perfect for my elderly Dad. The position of the cottages is wonderful- the sea views from the larger bedroom and the living room are to die for. We really felt at home as the cottage is so nicely presented with everything we could possibly need. John even left milk in the fridge, tea coffee and biscuits. I can’t recommend Hope Cottages highly enough. Compared to other places we have stayed in Filey, they offer much more space, value for money and a more personal touch from the owners.

Excellent cottage in lovely location overlooking one of the best bays and beaches in Britain. Helpful owners. Good choice of things to see and do and places to eat both locally and within easy travelling distance by car, bus, or train ......and for some also by foot along the 5 mile beach and coastal paths

A warm and welcoming holiday home. Lovely to be so near the sea and the town centre for shops. Great to lie in bed listening to the sea. Nice kitchen and good facilities for self catering. I didn't eat out much but would recommend the 2 good local butchers, one for all types of meat, the other for great ham, pies etc. For trips out, RSPB Bempton cliffs was great. Worth checking RSPB website for details of guided walks round the reserve. Flamborough Head also lovely, and I had great walks locally on the beach and in both directions along the cliff top. I had my car here, but there are good connections to nearby places by bus and train. My family visited Filey when I was 9 years old. This was my second stay as an adult, and I have now booked to return to this lovely place for a week next year.

We have stayed at both of the Hope Cottages numerous times and I honestly can't recommend them enough. They are in the perfect location (overlooking beach), within the perfect town. Facilities are excellent, everywhere is clean, and you're within walking distance of some of the best coastline in England. Highly Recommended.
