It was an ok stay. The prices are cheap, so that makes it a good family holiday. The Bronze caravan we stayed in this time, wasn’t as good quality as the bronze at Blue Dolphins. The sofas are meant to be a light green but instead they are absolutely filthy and completely stained. All carpets in bedrooms are stained and the beds are probably 15+ years old with the springs sticking out. We visited a toddler activity one morning and the lady running it was really nice. Other parts of primrose really need some work though, for example the playgrounds all need ripping out and having new ones in - North Yorkshire council playgrounds are better dotted around villages close by. The absolute worst though is the splash pool. The changing rooms are a level of disgusting I’ve never ever seen, urine and stools everywhere, dirty nappies, decades of rot. 70% of the showers don’t work and ones that do are ice cold. The swimming pool itself needs a really good looking at and is absolutely ice cold. We booked this site for the splash pool but we only went in it once for half an hour it was that bad. The arcades are better than blue dolphin, but machines that give out tickets don’t generally work and prizes in 2p machines are purposely put under heavy mugs that never move. It was an okay stay, but I won’t be coming back to primrose valley again.

Had arty tots with my 3 years old. The description of the activity was to make a Sun catcher, paint a picture and play with gloop this description made out the activities would be organised . My daughter was very excited about do all these activities. When we arrived it was a free for all with 3 table set up, with finger paint stamps, glue table and paints with stamps and brushes. No organised structure. Left to get on with it. Way too many kids around the small tables set up. No offers of help from the staff there. My daughter was very disappointed. She loves art and crafts and was expecting to make the activities which had been in the description. Like most of the kids there lasting 15 minutes and wanted to leave. I understand this activity is free but when you are expecting to do certain activities based on the class information and it doesn't happen it leaves you very disappointed. Waste of our time really

Spent plenty of time here. If you're collecting tickets don't leave it until Saturday morning to collect your prize the queue was ridiculous and there was only one person on the desk. Kids love collecting the tickets but the prizes are terrible.

Expensive and hardly anything for my 3 + 4 year olds. Disappointed. If you do find anything worth a gander it will break withing 5 seconds of using it. Even the staff have had enough of the machines.

came back march 2019 was very surprised the pub has been done up well it looks so much better no more hobgobiln on draft me and the wife tried the nacho sharer and meat sharer both were nice and enjoyed only issue was being asked 3 times if everything was ok so im going to give 2 new stars and see how the week goes Although we are on day 4 and still no san miguel on draft ... June 2018 review of been 4 but seeing the bar/waiter staff cleaning the knives and forks after having the blue roll in his mouth knocked 1 star off but then he wiped his nose on the blue roll and continued to wipe the knives and forks .. 1 more star off .. then one of the bar staff went to the shop for his 4 cans of strongbow ... the charge for passes is insane and if you dont want to go in the club the pub is accessed from out side. And good to see fresh paint just a shame they painted the tv as well .. only real plus was our private caravan was amazing ...
