Yorkshire Wedding Barn

We had our wedding at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn in April 2025. From start to finish the team were fantastic! They accommodated meetings later in the evening for us to travel after work, they gave us advise and listened to our ideas and vision in the planning phase and could not have been more helpful on the day which kept us very relaxed. In the final months before our wedding, I was unsure as to how much the team would be able to help us on the day, but everything was so well managed by them, I was so so happy when we came back to the Lake Barn following our wedding breakfast to find the evening reception set up perfectly! The barns are vast and spacious, we had so many comments from local guests who said that they didn't know the venue was there, but they thought it was amazing! So much of the decorating is also already done for you here. The getting ready room is something else, the space is expansive and relaxing and allows the bridal party to have a place of their own to get ready, which is so much more than the hotel room most venues offer! The ground are a stunning place to take photos, the cottages are fantastic for guests to enjoy in the build up and after your wedding, and the team were also happy to offer to open the bar the night before which was amazing to extend our celebrations and greet our guests. Overall this is a fantastic venue with a team who work extremely hard, we would not have changed our choice of venue for anything!

We cannot put into words, how thankful we are for you all, we are so happy that we chose the Yorkshire wedding barn as our venue for our special day. From the details meetings, emails, conversations on the phone, you were all nothing but helpful and always so warm and kind. Especially when my mum forgot her car keys in the venue, Mandy's efforts to keep us smiling and stress free didn't go unnoticed along with the rest of the team. She and Teresa stood out especially when ensuring our little dog Bella could attend the wedding. Olly, May and the rest of the team on the day was just amazing, May did her absolute best to ensure everything ran exactly how we wanted it to, and we all always remember her as part of our day. The girl who was with me right before I took my aisle entrance was just the best, she did everything to keep me calm and make me feel happy. I'll always remember her. All of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was, and how the staff were amazing and so kind too. We are absolutely still on cloud 9 from the absolute best day and those efforts come from you and everyone else who was part of our day. Thankyou so much from the bottom of our hearts.

I photograph weddings at Yorkshire Wedding Barn a few times a year, and it’s always an absolute joy! This venue is the perfect mix of everything anyone would want, with beautiful barns, stunning countryside views, and so so much space for couples to truly make their day their own. The light-filled barns are amazing for capturing those natural, relaxed moments, and the surrounding fields are perfect for golden-hour portraits. Plus, the team here is fantastic. If you’re looking for a stylish, relaxed barn wedding with breathtaking backdrops, I can’t recommend Yorkshire Wedding Barn enough!

My Daughter recently got married here. Lots of people rave about the views, event rooms, accommodation. All stunning. All true. I do however think there is a staffing issue here. You literally apart from cook and serve drinks have to arrange most things yourself. No greeting as the bridal party arrive, no clear direction at any part of the wedding. When in the best mans speech he’d like to thank the staff he said “ oh there aren’t any”. Only one lonely girl sat on some steps in the corner with her ear pods in. We had to phone the contact over 5 times for guidance. Bearing in mind my daughter had planned this wedding with such attention to detail (like all brides do) and thank goodness for that. Like I said great place but be prepared to think on your feet, it certainly isn’t taken out of your hands. Have to say though the staff that were there were lovely and tried to accommodate. No one unfortunately was around to coordinate the wedding. Great props but no substance unfortunately .

Quite simply the best wedding venue I've ever been to. Loaction, views, facility, service, food, everything was brilliant.
