Great like any other Toby, I visited with a bigger group of people (around 30) very accommodating and good customer service. Food does stop being available at around 11-11:10am so be sure to keep this in mind. Drinks are not included in the all you can eat breakfast so you do have to order them separately. Fairly quiate on a Saturday morning. ..... Great yorkshire puddings......
My mom treated me to lunch here today for my 40th birthday. We have never been BUT definitely will be back again. We were served by Ruth, You instantly made us feel at home. Ruth thank you sweet pea. The food was bursting with flavour. See you soon xx
Was a perfect Toby experience. Just what you would expect and very simple to get some nice food quickly and easily. Thanks!
We haven't been here for about 5 months since I reported about Disable parking bays still not done anything. 3 Disable parking bays are absolutely ridiculous. The manager should do something about need more spaces for Disable people.. I find it is absolutely ignorance n discrimination. We r regularly visit here for a carvery. No complain about the food.. Staff are friendly.. But the main big problem is that there are only 3 Disable parking bays. N the rest of the car park is about 50. We have been booked twice n there's nowhere to park, then we had to leave.. Please make at least 10 Disable parking bays.. We're not going back if nothing changed.
Today, December 21, 2025, my family and I went to eat at Toby Carvery's in Dronfield, a place we love. I must say the food was fresh and delicious, absolutely everything. However, the waitress's service was very tense and unpleasant. From the moment she took our drinks, she gave us a dirty look when I told her I wouldn't be ordering separate plates for my two- and three-year-old daughters, but would share mine with them. She made a very rude gesture, and that's when it all started. She began staring at us—that would be the right word. My wife got up to get more vegetables and just stood there staring at us, not taking her eyes off us. We really didn't feel comfortable. We wanted to order dessert, but she didn't even ask us to; she just gave us a receipt to pay. We decided to leave, as it seemed the waitress didn't appreciate our presence in the restaurant. It was very uncomfortable at a chain restaurant we frequent, but this place was our first and last time.
