I was brought up that manners cost nothing; courteous. Time and time again one person serving in this store has none. I have been hesitant to broadcast my disappointment, on a whole the shop is convenient. This is one person and I doubt I'm not alone with the below. "Is that it" after presenting items to be scanned, a price given for the goods without any form of manners.
Went on today around ten to 3, bought a bottle of pop. When I approached the counter, the staff member who was stood up (no issue with the other one who was sat down) was rude and treated me like I'd interrupted their conversation, told me very bluntly that it was the other till. Not how I expect to be treated anywhere. Manners cost nothing
This really is a Sainsbury's local !! Open from 7am till 11pm daily . It s only small but its a real convenience store . Obviously not going to stock everything but has a good selection of items that one would run out of and save the hassle of going to a main supermarket. It's conveniently sited on the edge of a housing estate and bus route on Queensway . It has a bank hole in the wall . National lottery , newspapers , beer and spirits a plenty , alongside crisps sweets biscuits and cakes . It has a chilled food isle and a small frozen selection of meals and desserts. Wheelchair accessible too. Can be difficult at peak traffic hours as it has no designated parking but there is a seven ish vehicle lay-bys opposite . There is also limited parking on the small access road to the garages and flats behind the shops which allows easy access back onto the road
Products are quite expensive it's only a small shop,if you went in for everyday essentials like milk and bread you wouldn't have much change from a fiver
It has most things you will need from food, drinks, groceries, etc.
