Aldi has become my go-to for weekly groceries—and for good reason. The prices are consistently lower than other UK supermarkets, which makes a big difference when you're shopping on a budget. But it’s not just about saving money—the quality and variety are genuinely impressive. One thing I have to mention: their rice pudding. It’s hands-down my favourite, and I’ve tried plenty from other places. Nothing compares. I keep going back just for that, and end up doing the rest of my shop while I’m there—fresh produce, pantry staples, even snacks I didn’t know I needed. If you're watching your budget but still want good food, Aldi is where it's at. Simple, affordable, and full of little foodie gems.

Love love love this store. Great prices, great choice of food especially plant based range. Easy parking and lovely staff who are so helpful, also love the self checkout machines. My only gripe is some of us senior citizens still like to deal in cash, so at least another two cash/card machines would be very helpful, also express till would go down well. 🙏

Have used Aldi for many years. Never had a complaint until today, we were served by the most ignorant obnoxious man ive ever had the misfortune to meet. He got all our items mixed up with the next customer "even though there was the 'next customer' sign in place. He rushed us to the point my elderly mother was nearly in tears. What ever happened to customer service & the customer matters? This person needs taking to one side & teaching some manners & customer relations, if not he wasn't disposing off. I will NEVER shop at Halifax Aldi again.

Carpark lots of disabled parking does get very busy. Staff friendly food prices good also home and seasonal etc
