Reeds Rains Estate Agents Halifax

Absolutely fab. I’m currently looking for a house to buy. Reeds Rains in Halifax have Been great. Jamie and Matt are friendly, resound to queries quickly and most of all did not just treat me like a number, like some other estate agents. They understood my needs, provided excellent customer service and really knew their stuff. Thank you for responding to my emails and calls promptly, and not making me feel like a number, and not responding to me just because the house was not right for me. Ie not making me feel like a sales target.

Matt, Vicky and the team at Reed Rains have been absolutely fantastic to work with for my first rental property. Matt especially has been very patient as due to extra building works the process took longer than hoped but he has been extremely supportive from start to finish. Trade people recommended through them have been very professional and got the jobs done quickly and to a high standard. Vicky was very good at communicating the process and the progression with the tenants and they were found quickly once the house was ready to go. I would definitely recommend Matt and his team at Reed Rains for anyone looking for a letting agents.

Probably great to sell with traditionally but do not let these guys talk you into selling at auction which they will likely do if your property is under 200k as they receive much more commission We weren't considering auction but it was talked up so much on the initial valuation meeting that we decided to go with it. We were told "this house will sell and sell fast". And that they had multiple auction buyers interested in the area. We received zero bids and in the end had to settle for 15 grand (12%) below our house valuation (independently agreed by three other agents) to get rid of it. And to a mortgaged buyer who only agreed with caveats that he could pull out of there were any issues anyway - rendering the "benefits" of auction pretty moot In their defence, the work they did do was fast and efficient and I'm sure selling traditionally with them would be great. the first viewing did come along within a day of posting the add (which voids the cancellation period but there you go)

Excellent service from the whole team at Reed Rains Halifax. Very patient and guided me very well through all the processes need in order to rent a property. Nothing ever seemed like too much and was very helpful with advice and recommendations for tradesmen when work was required. Recommended.
