Corporate Tax Senior
<strong>Tax Senior</strong> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Harrogate<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> £30,000-£35,000 + Benefits</p> <p>An established and growing independent accountancy practice in North Yorkshire is looking to appoint a Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and private clients.</p> <strong>The Role</strong> <p>Working closely with the Tax Manager and Partners, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients while supporting the wider tax team with both compliance and advisory work.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns.</li><li>Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.</li><li>Providing clients with practical tax advice on day-to-day matters.</li><li>Assisting with tax planning projects where appropriate.</li><li>Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.</li><li>Building and maintaining strong client relationships.</li><li>Supporting junior team members where required.</li><li>Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.</li></ul> <strong>About You</strong> <p>The successful candidate is likely to have:</p> <ul> <li>ATT qualified, part-qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA (or qualified by experience).</li><li>Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.</li><li>Experience preparing personal and/or corporate tax returns.</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and client relationship skills.</li><li>The ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.</li></ul> <strong>What's on Offer</strong> <ul> <li>Salary of £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.</li><li>Generous holiday allowance.</li><li>Pension scheme.</li><li>Ongoing professional development and training.</li><li>Genuine opportunities for career progression.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment.</li><li>Exposure to a varied client portfolio and a broad range of tax work.</li></ul> <p>This opportunity would suit an experienced Tax Semi Senior ready to take the next step, or an established Tax Senior looking to join a friendly, forward-thinking independent practice offering long-term career development.</p>
