Ordered a wallpaper steamer over the phone with Steve, was told it would be with me within the hour which I was shocked by the speedy response. Dropped by a really helpful lad called Rob who showed me how the kit worked and got me on my way. Fantastic service, highly recommended!
I’ve seen reviews suggesting that this place is friendly and helpful, I can only imagine that because whenever I pass they are always so dead, they make up reviews themselves. The place has a miserable feel about it, and prices are outrageous. Even rip off B&Q only charge £6.90 for a bag of cement, tried scamming nearly £8.50 here, when I was desperate at a local job. Their Rep keeps approaching us on our sites and assuring that they’re worth a try, No Thanks I’ll keep goin to Brooks’s !
I hired a whacker plate a couple of days ago. I spoke to James from the hire department on the phone and the machine was delivered within half an hour. James was very professional and polite during our phone conversation and when delivering the machine. Excellent service. Thank you.
Had a lot of trouble trying to hire a nail gun, after repeated calls and texts finally confirmed collection on a Saturday, to go to collect and find they can't issue it cause none of the paper work had been done and no one can access the system. Seems issue it due to staff shortages. Picked up tool following Monday and offered a heavily discounted hire.
Not helpful staff and give you false information when hiring stuff then hire you a broken item , that wont go so take it back complain, then they say we will charge you for 1days hire only that’s all I needed for then they rip you off n charge you 2days when the guy behind the counter said we will only charge you 1days hire for the inconvenience DONT HIRE ANYTHING FROM HERE , staff not helpful n hire equipment wont go when you get it home
